88Bikes Volunteers

88bikes has numerous dedicated volunteers who support our work around the world with dedicated efforts, typically paying their own way to work with us on our projects and to follow up with support, training, and workshops in the locations where 88bikes has given bikes to kids. For our work in 2009-2010 and Project FOUR, 88bikes owes a tremendous thanks to our volunteers: Jessica Liddell, who will be running bike workshops and leading a bike ride in Nepal; Ashley Wilhite, who will be helping to repair bikes and set up an organic farm at the Bihar ashram in India; Mary Heers, who travelled to Huancayo, Peru, in 2009 to repair bikes and conduct a workshop at an all-girls orphanage, with a female bike mechanic (Mary will likely do more trips in 2010); Lynsey Dyer and Jessika Winderl who are going to do some art and movement workshops with the girls in Bihar in May 2010; Linda Tom, who joined Dan in India in early February to endow two sites; and many other people who have contributed to making 88bikes a success in small and large ways.
