Happy Birthday, Rebecca!

Rebecca Stryker first donated to 88bikes 12 years ago. Since then, she has personally funded several bikes to heroic women in girls in Cambodia, Laos and India as well as contributed to expanding our work and funding small business grants for former bike recipients via a generous monthly donation.

We are honored she chose us to be the beneficiaries of her birthday celebration!

Below are a few photos from Rebecca’s bike donations through the years. As always, we take a picture with each bike recipient holding her donor’s photo. We send a post card back in the mail to each donor with this same picture on the front and a world map and some info on each recipient on the back.

Bikes are purchased in-country from local vendors to support the local economy. The price for each bike is still just $88, same price since we launched in 2006.

To donate, simply click here, or on the DONATE button, above right.

And if you really want to go the extra mile, recurring donations are a huge lift. Rebecca currently donates every month to us and we could not be more grateful. In thanks, we’ll send you your choice of an 88bikes tote bag, or a cool bike necklace hand-made by women artisans in India, exclusively made for 88bikes via our partners, Trades of Hope (scroll down for pics).

Thanks so much!
